The Amazing Spider-Man
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Oscorp scientist and businessman Richard Parker records video messages to explain his disappearance. He and his wife Mary are attempting to flee on an aircraft that has been captured by an assassin. They are killed when the plane goes down.
Two years ago, Dr. Curt Connors, Richard and Mary’s son, Peter is still able to combat crime as Spider-Man and apprehends the criminal Aleksei Sytsevich. Gwen and Peter have a difficult relationship. Peter’s childhood friend, Harry Osborn is back in Manhattan to see his terminally-ill father Norman, CEO of Oscorp. The disease is genetic, and Harry is at the age when it begins to manifest. Norman dies and Harry is appointed the new CEO.
A Oscorp electrical engineer Max Dillon is accidently shocked while working in an Oscorp laboratory. He gets sucked into a tank filled with genetically engineered electric Eels. They attack him and becomes a living generator of electricity. Meanwhile, Gwen tells Peter that she could move to England in the event that she is awarded the scholarship offered by Oxford University. Unaware of the extent of his powers, Dillon wanders into Times Square, accidentally creating a blackout, but is stopped by Spider-Man. Dillon is taken to the Ravencroft Institute where the institute is run by Dr. Ashley Kafka, a German scientist.
Harry is beginning to show symptoms of disease. He uses the information Norman gave him to decide that Spider-Man’s blood might aid him. Peter who is a photographer selling images of Spider-Man on daily profit, approaches Peter every day, asks him to help in the search for Spider-Man. Peter is unsure about the impact of the transfusion and the likelihood that Harry could develop an identical mutation to Dr. Connors. Harry later rejects Harry as Spider-Man, angering Harry. Oscorp vice-president Donald Menken frames Harry for hiding the incident of Dillon He removes him as CEO and assumes the reins of Oscorp. Harry offers to make a deal with Dillon (now called “Electro”) in order to gain entry into the Oscorp building. Electro agrees to kill Kafka. Kafka.
After returning to Oscorp, Harry finds the poison from the genetically altered spiders. After he compel Menken to inject him with the venom, it accelerates his illness and makes him a goblin-like creature However, the built-in emergency protocol in the armor suit helps to restore his health. Meanwhile, Peter finds his father’s secret laboratory in an abandoned subway station . He learns that he had to flee due to his refusal to cooperate with Norman’s plans to make biogenetic weapons based on his research. Peter discovers that Gwen has been offered the Oxford scholarship. Peter confesses his affection to her and agrees to travel to England with her.
Gwen and Spider-Man bring back the power of Electro after he causes another blackout. This overloads Electro’s body and kills him. Harry is dressed as the Green Goblin is able to arrive with Norman’s weapons. Upon seeing Gwen the Spider-Man, he discovers his secret identity and, swearing to get back the blood transfusion, takes Gwen to the top of the clock tower. Spider-Man slays Green Goblin but Gwen dies, despite his attempts to save her. Depressed and guilt-ridden, Peter ends his career as Spider-Man.
Five months after the fact, Harry is coping with the effects of his transformation as he is in prison at Ravencroft. His associate, Gustav Fiers visits him and they discuss forming their own team. Harry commands Fiers to begin with Sytsevich and free him from his prison. Sytsevich is fitted with an electromechanical armor suit, and runs wild through the streets. Inspired by Gwen’s graduation speech, Peter is confronted by Peter as Spider-Man.
